4th Short Food Supply Chain (SFSC) Expo and Conference

13 November 2025 | Jakabszállás, Hungary
The 4th Short Food Supply Chain (SFSC) Expo and Conference will take place on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at the Aero Hotel & Restaurant in Jakabszállás, Hungary.
Organised by the Kislépték Association, this annual event serves as a professional meeting point, knowledge-sharing space, and inspiring fair – where knowledge, innovation, and rural values meet.
A gathering for those building a resilient food future
The SFSC Expo is a unique gathering in the Carpathian Basin for everyone who believes that local products and short supply chains are key to a more resilient and sustainable future. Strengthening small rural enterprises remains essential for rural development, and the Expo brings together the people and organisations shaping that vision.
Exhibitors, innovation, and collaboration
The exhibition offers opportunities for small producers and rural enterprises to connect with service providers and showcase their products, technologies, and innovations — from peanut butter presses and online sales tools to small-scale solar energy solutions.
This year, the Expo is expected to welcome around 100 exhibitors and 600 visitors, including producers, artisans, SMEs, municipalities, rural developers, and decision-makers — all united in their commitment to strengthening rural values.
2025 Theme: Climate Adaptation and Sustainable Innovation
The focus of this year’s edition is climate adaptation and innovation for sustainable operation.
Visitors will also meet the first participants of the Open Farm Days agrotourism program and the finalists of the Dishes of Agrotourism competition, highlighting the diversity and creativity of local food initiatives.
