July Advisinar ‘ Sharing Experiences Within Our Network’ Recap

On July 20, EU4Advice and COREnet held their latest ‘ Sharing Experiences Within Our Network’ Advisinar, bringing together over 50 advisors, researchers, and food producers from across Europe. This session was a bit different from our usual format: rather than hearing from the project team, we invited members of the SFSC advisors network to share their own experience and challenges directly with their peers.

Two advisors from the network, Robert Klaassen and Lucia Balak, volunteered to take the stage. One shared a first-hand story from their work in the field, opening it up for discussion, while the other brought a live challenge to the group, inviting fellow advisors to weigh in with ideas and experience. The result was a genuine, peer-to-peer exchange, with attendees jumping in throughout to ask questions and share their own perspectives.

This kind of exchange is exactly what the SFSC advisors network is here for. Advisors supporting short food supply chains across Europe often work through similar challenges in isolation, and sessions like this one create space to learn from each other instead.

A big thank you to Robert and Lucia for their courage in volunteering to share, and to everyone who joined and took part in the discussion. If you’d like to be part of the next Advisinar, whether as a listener or a future speaker, keep an eye on our upcoming events.
