An interview with Victoria Nagy, leader of the Living Lab Hungary

 

Victoria Nagy, manager of the Living Lab Hungary, participated in the Cross Living Lab event, where she shared insights into her passion for local food and the importance of small-scale food production. During our interview, she discussed her work within Hungary’s local and regional food systems, emphasising the role of local food associations in supporting the development of short food supply chains.

Nagy highlighted the importance of mapping all the actors involved in these supply chains to create shared value and common goals. In her role at Living Lab Hungary, she focuses on building a network of short-food supply chain advisors and organisers, inviting producers, consumers, and government representatives to collaborate. She also emphasised that through the EU4Advice project, there is much to learn about community-building and ensuring the sustainability of the living lab beyond the project’s conclusion.
