Feeding Ourselves Local Food Symposium
Join the “Feeding Ourselves Local Food Symposium” at Trinity College Dublin to explore how Ireland can better recognise and support local food producers and build stronger local food economies and Short Food Supply Chains (SFSCs).
Organised by Feasta, Talamh Beo and Cultivate, in collaboration with Trinity Sustainability and with support from the Irish Environmental Network, the symposium marks the end of the two-year “Strengthening Local Food Economies in Ireland” project. It will launch the project’s policy recommendations on income stability for local food producers, Talamh Beo‘s campaign for a Basic Income for Local Food Farmers and the updated Local Food Policy Framework. Speakers include farmers, food activists, researchers and policy analysts, among them Davie Philip representing EU4Advice and Cultivate.
