GRASS CEILING European Policy Forum for women-led innovation in agriculture and rural areasAEIDL (European Association for Innovation in Local Development), as part of the Horizon Europe GRASS CEILING project, is leading the online European Policy Forum for women-led innovation in agriculture and rural. This Forum plays a key role in pushing for change and increase women-led socio-ecological innovations in farming, the rural economy and in rural communities. EU4Advice will participate in this event by Innogestiona Ambiental, project coordinator. With the participation of several Managing Authorities from different Member States and the support of DG AGRI, we will host an online Good Practice Workshop on March 24th, from 10:30 to 12:00 CET. This workshop aims to showcase and analyse existing best practices of public support in Member States through their Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) Strategic Plans. These initiatives, identified through the project, focus particularly on civil servants responsible for schemes supporting women in agriculture, cohesion policy, the green and digital transitions, among others. Additionally, the session aims to delve into the factors contributing to the success of these practices and explore the potential for a systemic approach to their design, implementation, and monitoring in the upcoming programming period post-2027. It will be organised around the publication of the Vision for Agriculture and Food and the Roadmap for Women’s Rights. After the presentations of national cases, they will have a round table with representatives of European institutions such as DG AGRI, CoR, EESC, EP and other organisations and European projects working for women. Please express your interest by the 20th of March! Check the agenda here and REGISTER. For any question write to Blanca Casares (bca@aeidl.eu). Thank you in advance for your contribution. |
