EU4Advice has established four Living Labs across Europe
At the core of the EU4Advice methodological framework, four Living Labs have been established across Europe:
The overarching aim of those Living Labs will be to connect SFSC producers, SFSC advisors, policy-makers, researchers and consumers in an interactive co-construction process, thus allowing for intensive exchange of knowledge and experience between its members.
According to the European Network of Living Labs (ENoLL), Living labs are defined as “user-centered, open innovation ecosystems based on systematic user co-creation approach, integrating research and innovation processes in real life communities and settings”.
This concrete, impact-driven approach will allow for the development of field-tested solutions and models, with the 5 years of the project allowing for feedback from practice.
Living Lab Methodology
Approach
EU4Advice’s Living Lab approach is based on an adaptation of the Urban living labs developed by the Amsterdam Institute for Advanced Metropolitan Solutions (AMS). Thus, AMS will act as a supporting institutions for all five Living Labs, supporting their setting-up and effiicient operation.
